ABOUT SAINEY NYASSI

Gambian winger who broke into the MLS with the New England Revolution in 2007. After six years with the Revolution, he joined D.C. United in 2013.

He began his professional career with Gambia Ports Authority in 2004.

He won the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup with the Revolution in 2007.

His twin brother Sanna Nyassi also played in the MLS.

He was coached by Ben Olsen on D.C. United.
