ABOUT SALMAN AL-FARAJ

Professional central midfielder that signed his first professional contract with the Al Hilal Saudi Football Club in 2008 as a teenager. He has also played for the Saudi Arabian men's national team during his career. He is the team captain of both Al Hilal and Saudi Arabia.

He first began playing soccer as a kid. In 2004, he joined Al-Hilal's youth club.

He played for Team Saudi Arabia during the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. He scored his first international goal during the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Medina, Saudi Arabia. He now has a daughter named Jojo.

He shares an August 1st birthday with Scottie Barnes .
