ABOUT SALVADOR TORRES
American muralist known for his work in the Chicano art scene. He is the founder of San Deigo's Centro Cultural de la Raza.
He earned a Master of Arts degree from San Diego State University in 1973.
He painted murals for the NBC series The Fortunate Son.
He was previously married to artist Gloria Robolledo Torres.
He and actress Susanna Thompson both attended San Diego State University.
