ABOUT SAM AMICK

American journalist who is best known for his work as a Senior NBA Writer for The Athletic. He is also known for having provided NBA coverage for USA Today Sports, Sports Illustrated, and The Sacramento Bee.

He graduated from California State University, Sacramento with his degree in journalism and started his career at AOL FanHouse before he was picked up to write for Sports Illustrated in 2009. In 2012, he was asked to write for USA Today where he quickly became one of their Senior NBA Writers.

He is also known for hosting his own podcast called NBA A to Z where he discusses a wide range of current events throughout the NBA.

He was born and raised in California.

He appeared on the podcast of fellow sports commentator Dan Patrick .
