Late American actor who became known for his supporting role in the classic 1979 film, Apocalypse Now . He played a supporting role in the 2003 Oscar-nominated film, Seabiscuit.
He debuted in 1971's The Last Picture Show when he was 16.
He concluded his career with the 2007 movie, Finishing the Game.
He married his second wife, Laura Bickford, in 2002 after divorcing his first wife, Susan Arnold.
He is the younger brother of actor Timothy Bottoms .
