ABOUT SAM MCKNIGHT
Stylist who is best known as the owner and founder of the brand Hair by Sam. He is also a contributing beauty editor for British Vogue.
Beginning with a variety of jobs from window cleaner to van driver, he assisted as a hairdresser in Scotland before moving to London to pursue his career as a hair stylist.
He has worked on the signature and iconic styles of Princess Diana , Lady Gaga , Cate Blanchett , and Tilda Swinton .
Born and raised in New Cumnock, Ayrshire, he was raised by his father who was a miner and his mother who worked at the local co-op.
He maintains long standing collaborative relationships with several prominent artists including Mario Testino and Karl Lagerfeld .
