ABOUT SAM WILLIAMS

NFL defensive end that was selected by the Dallas Cowboys as a second round pick in the 2022 Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Mississippi . Following his 2021 season at Ole Miss, he was named a member of the first team All-SEC.

He initially began his collegiate career at Northeast Mississippi Community College. He later transferred to Ole Miss as a junior in 2019.

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Cincinnati Bengals during week two of the 2022 regular season. He recorded one tackle in a 20-17 Cowboys victory. He returned to Ole Miss in 2021 and broke the team's single season-sack record.

Although he was born in Mobile, Alabama, he grew  up living in the Montgomery, Alabama area. He had a son named Samuel Jr. on November 6, 2020.

He is a former Ole Miss collegiate athlete just like Eli Manning and D.K. Metcalf .
