Before pursuing her artistic passions full-time, she studied journalism and then took on a corporate finance role.

She was born in Tokyo, Japan, and grew up in several international locations, including Singapore and London. She has collaborated with vacation home rental service Le Mas des Poiriers.

She is married with two children, one boy and one girl, and they are expecting a third child, another girl, in 2025.
