ABOUT SAMMY WALKER

NHL center that was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs as a seventh round pick in 2017. He was later signed by the Minnesota Wild on a multi-year deal in August 2022.

He was given Minnesota's Mr. Hockey Award as a senior at Edina High School. After graduating, he then enrolled in the University of Minnesota .

He scored exactly 38 goals in three years at Minnesota. While there, he was twice named to the All-Big Ten Academic Team.

Growing up, he lived with his parents and his four siblings in Edina, Minnesota. His two older brothers, Ben and Jack, are both professional hockey players.

He was taken during the 2017 NHL Entry Draft just like Nico Hischier .
