ABOUT SAMPA TEMBO
Zambian rapper who goes by the stage name Sampa the Great and is known for her 2019 debut album, The Return. The album became internationally successful. It was nominated for Australian album of the year at the 2019 J Awards.
She attended the SAE Institute where she earned a bachelor's degree in audio engineering.
In March 2020, she won her second Australian Music Award, making her the second artist to win twice.
Her mother was a dancer, and her father was an insurance broker and part-time DJ.
In 2017, she released the single "Everybody's Hero," which featured singer Estelle .
