ABOUT SANTIAGO BUENO

Uruguayan centre-back and athlete who first joined Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. in the year 2023. He had previously played for regions or clubs such as Girona, Barcelona , and Peralada. At the international level, he represented Uruguay in the 2020 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament.

He began playing youth soccer for Peñarol at the young age of ten.

He took a trip to London, England in the year 2022. That same year, he visited the Vatican. He stands 6'1" tall. Bueno made his Premier League debut in a controversial 3-2 defeat away to Fulham on November 27, 2023 that featured three penalties.

His full name is Santiago Ignacio Bueno Sciutto. His older brother, Gastón Bueno, has played soccer for Central Español, Danubio, and Montevideo Wanderers.

He became José Sá 's teammate upon joining Wolverhampton Wanderers.
