ABOUT SARA AHMED
Feminist author, scholar and activist known for writing about queer theory, critical race theory and post-colonialism. She is the author of several books, including Willful Subjects and On Being Included.
She completed her first degree at Adelaide University, South Australia.
In 2016, she left her role as a Professor of Race and Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London, in protest of the school's failure to deal with sexual harassment.
Her partner is American anthropologist Sarah Franklin.
She and Jazz Thornton are both respected authors.
