ABOUT SARAH BESSEY
Canadian author and blogger known for writing several popular books including Jesus Feminist and Miracles and Other Reasonable Things. She also co-founded and cohosted the Evolving Faith Conference and podcast.
She grew up passionate about her faith in Christianity and was an active attendee of the church during the renewal movement in Canada. She attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She moved back to Canada with her husband and began blogging in 2005. She initially wanted to just keep up with friends and family but she eventually started blogging about other topics and gained a following.
She is a cat lover and owner and likes naming her cats after Doctor Who characters. She collects vintage Lucy Maud Montgomery books and has watched Anne of Green Gables once a year since 1985.
She was born in Regina and was raised in Saskatchewan and Alberta, Canada. She married Brian Bessey in 2001. They have four children together.
She was a close friend of Rachel Held Evans and spoke at her funeral.
