ABOUT SARAH PODEMSKI

Canadian actress who rose to international fame for portraying Rita in the comedy-drama series Reservation Dogs . She went on to play notable roles in the series Coroner and Resident Alien . She is also known for her activism relating to issues affecting indigenous peoples.

She went to her first acting audition at the age of 11. One of her first roles was in a 1996 episode of the Goosebumps television series.

She creates and sells dreamcatchers through her business Totem Designs. She and her sisters founded the Shine Network Institute, an organization that assists indigenous women in film, television, and media.

Her father is Israeli and her mother is of Canadian First Nations heritage. She has two sisters, Tamara and Jennifer.

She shared the screen with NSYNC 's Joey Fatone Jr. in the TV movie Love Alaska.
