Actress and voiceover artist famously known for providing the voice of Backpack on Dora the Explorer . She later reprised the role in the movie Dora and the Lost City of Gold , and in several episodes of Go, Diego, Go! She has also appeared on episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and in the 2005 TV mini-series Miracle's Boys.

Her first acting credit was as the voice of "One" in a 2004 video for LeapFrog: Math Circus.

Although she was ultimately cast as Backpack on Dora the Explorer, she initially auditioned to provide the voice for Dora. She has been featured in over 100 episodes of television throughout her ongoing career.

In 2018, she married her husband Juan David Murillo. Together, they have 2 children.

She has a close friendship with former Dora the Explorer castmate Kathleen Herles .
