Cartoonist who rose to fame as a contestant on season nine of the Emmy Award-winning series, RuPaul's Drag Race .

She graduated from the Center for Cartoon Studies and works as an illustrator and art director.

She hosted the Ignatz Awards.

She was born Alexander "Sasha" Hedges Steinberg, but goes by her stage name Sasha Velour. She's an only child.

She appeared on the same season of RuPaul's Drag Race as special guest Lady Gaga .
