ABOUT SEAN GUENTHER

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Miami Marlins during the seventh round of the 2017 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Notre Dame University where he was named a member of the ACC All-Freshman team.

He began his professional career playing for the Marlins' rookie affiliate team the GCL Marlins.

He made his major league debut pitching on August 4, 2021.

He is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.

He played alongside Joe Panik during the 2021 MLB season.
