Sean O'Brien
ABOUT SEAN O'BRIEN
English poet, playwright, and literary critic who published The Drowned Book in 2007. The acclaimed work received both the Forward Poetry Prize and the T.S. Eliot Prize.
He studied at Selwyn College, University of Cambridge.
His award-winning poetry collections include November, Ghost Train, and Downriver.
He was born in London, and he and his family later relocated to Kingston-upon-Hull, England.
He was born in the same year as fellow British author Helen Dunmore .
