ABOUT SEBASTIAN HOENEß
Former attacking midfielder and athlete that played soccer professionally for ten seasons until retiring in the year 2010. During those years, he played for the Germany-based clubs TSG Hoffenheim and Hertha BSC. He later began his professional coaching career in the year 2019 with Bayern Munich .
He initially began his youth soccer career with TSV Ottobrunn. He eventually began playing soccer for TSV Grötzingen during his youth career.
While coaching Bayern Munich, he helped his team win a 2020 Bundesliga title. That very same year, he was named Coach of the Year. In April of 2023, Hoeneß took over VfB Stuttgart. Hoeneß led the club from the bottom of the table into the relegation play-offs of the 2022-23 Bundesliga, in which Stuttgart defeated Hamburg. He stands five feet, 11 inches tall.
Growing up, he lived with his family in Munich, Germany. His father Dieter played soccer professionally as well.
During his professional soccer career, he primarily played the position of attacking midfielder just like Pablo Torre and Xavier Simons .
