ABOUT SERDAR AZIZ

Center back who has risen to fame for his club career in Turkey's Super Lig, including for Boraspor between 2008-2016. He helped lead the club to the 2008-2009 Super Lig championship as a prominent defender.

He began his youth soccer career in 2000 as part of Boraspor's youth academy.

He received his first call-up to Turkey's senior national team in 2014. He scored his first international goal for his home country in November 2014 during UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying.

He is the youngest of three children.

He has played alongside Selcuk Inan for the Turkish side Galatasaray.
