ABOUT SHAKA TONEY
NFL defensive end that was originally selected by the Washington Commanders as a seventh-round pick in the 2021 Draft. Prior to his NFL career, he played college football at Penn State University . As a senior, he earned first-team All-Big Ten honors.
He was considered a three-star prospect while at the Imhotep Institute Charter High School. In addition to football, he also ran track in high school.
He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Los Angeles Chargers during week one of the 2021 regular season. Unfortunately, he lost his debut by a score of 20-16.
Growing up, he lived with his family in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the youngest of four siblings.
He was coached by James Franklin while at Penn State.
