She went to engineering school in Jabalpur and started studying theater during her second year of school.

She did her own dubbing for Arjun Reddy, despite the fact that the film was shot in Telugu, which is not a language she speaks fluently.

Her father objected to her career choice in acting, but they've since made peace.
