Russian pop and hip-hop singer, vocalist, entertainer, YouTube star, online content creator, social media personality, artist, performer, composer, and songwriter who is known for his hit and popular songs "Fairy" (2020), "Mine Anyway" (2021), "To The Moon" (2023), and "Native" (2023).
He released his debut music video "Shami & Lil Dagg / Live show in studio" on YouTube in June 2011, showcasing a live performance in a studio. His popularity grew on YouTube which helped him begin releasing albums and music. He released his first studio album Girl of the East in 2018.
He is passionate about the mountains and many of his videos feature mountains and the outdoors. He is Muslim and has often brought up his spirituality on his Instagram page. He also runs the YouTube channel "Shamiofficial" where he shares original music and covers which has amassed over 250,000 subscribers with many of his music videos being viewed millions of times each.
He was born Shamil Ramazanovich Yakhyaev. He was born and raised in Kizlyar, Russia.
