TikTok personality known as a travel and adventure photographer and videographer. He is especially known for his photos of the sea and conservation advocacy. He called himself "CEO of the Ocean." He has amassed more than 11 million followers on his shangerdanger account.

He moved to Oahu, Hawaii, and planned to study engineering. He joined YouTube in 2008.

His videos feature him diving to look at shipwrecks in Aruba and exploring the Dominican Republic's beaches. He also started a YouTube series about ocean conservation and sustainable food harvesting. His videos show him collecting trash from Hawaii's oceans.

He and his significant other Brittany Joy are expecting their first child together in 2024. They welcomed their daughter, Summer Aurora, in January 2024.
