NFL quarterback that was originally signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2021. Previously, he played college football at Southern Methodist University . Following his senior season, he was named to the first team All-AAC.

He initially began his collegiate career at the University of Texas . He later transferred to SMU in 2019.

His 2,958 passing yards are the most ever by a freshman quarter in Texas' program history. The previous record holder was Colt McCoy .

Growing up, he lived with his parents in the Arlington, Texas area. He is the youngest of two brothers. He got married in March 2023.

He was coached by Andy Reid during the 2022 NFL season.
