ABOUT SHANE PINTO

NHL center that was initially taken as a second round pick by the Ottawa Senators in 2019. Prior to his NHL career, he played college hockey at the University of North Dakota . While at North Dakota, he was a two-time member of the NCHC All-Academic Team.

He originally began playing hockey at the age of seven. At the time, he played football and baseball as well.

He was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins as a kid coming up. In particular, he loved to watch Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin .

He grew up living with his family in Franklin Square, New York. He has a sister named Brianna.

He played alongside Brady Tkachuk as a member of the Senators during the 2023 NHL season.
