Midfielder who won three Olympic gold medals with the U.S. women's soccer team in 2004, 2008 and 2012 as well as a World Cup Championship in 2015.

She helped Notre Dame win the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship in 2005.

She enjoyed one of her best seasons in 2005, when she was a finalist for FIFA World Player of the Year honors.

She married Sean Taketa in 2005.

She shared gold with Abby Wambach at the 2012 London Games.
