ABOUT SHANNON CHANDLER

American actress who is best known for being the first to play Jo McCormick on the FOX children's series Big Bad Beetleborgs. She appeared in the show's feature-length spin-off film, Curse of the ShadowBorg, as well as movies like Casper: A Spirited Beginning.

She began acting at age seven. She starred in several theater productions before transitioning to screen acting in the late 90's.

She was nominated for a YoungStar Award for Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Saturday Morning TV Program for her work on Big Bad Beetleborgs.

Her mother encouraged her to become an actress.
