Late singer known for being of the most popular figures in Malaysian entertainment for several decades. She is remembered for the more than seventy albums she recorded over the course of her illustrious career.
She won the Bintang RTS talent contest in 1968 by singing the song "Tiga Malam."
In Malaysia, she has often been referred to as "Biduanita Negara," which translates to "National Songstress."
She was married to Ali Bakar from 1981 until 1982. She has a son named Aliff Omar Ali.
She and Francissca Peter are two of the most popular Malaysian singers.
