Actress and model who rose to fame appearing on television serials such as Bhaggolokkhi and Lokkhi Kakima Superstar. She has also participated in an episode of the reality TV show Dadagiri's 9th season. She has amassed 240,000 followers to her sharly_modak Instagram account, where she shares modeling photos and images of her day-to-day life.

While attending Surendranath Womens' College to study journalism and mass communication, she began modeling and auditioning for television serials. She made her acting debut starring in the 2019 series Chirondini Ami Je Tomar.

She appeared on the August 2022 cover of ELEGANT Magazine.

She is the daughter of mother Purabi Modak and father Asim Kumar Modak. She has two sisters: Labani Biswas and Haimanti Barman.

She performed in the music video for the song "O Mahiya" by singer and actor Ahsan Khan .
