ABOUT SHEEBAH KARUNGI

Singer, dancer and actress who released her first solo EP, Ice Cream, in 2014. She had her acting debut in 2016, playing a leading role in the film Queen of Katwe .

When she was 15, she joined the dance group Stingers. She left them shortly to join Obsessions Music Group in 2006.

At the HiPipo Music Awards, she won Best Female Artist in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, and Artist of the Year in 2017 and 2018.

She was raised by a single mother.

Lupita Nyong'o and David Oyelowo were amongst her Queen of Katwe costars.
