ABOUT SHEKHAR SUMAN

Indian actor, entertainer, artist, performer, and politician who is known for appearing in a wide variety of films including Manav Hatya, Naache Mayuri, Sansar, Anubhav, Tridev, Pati Parmeshwar, and Ranbhoomi. He was in television shows including Dekh Bhai Dekh.

One of his earliest screen roles was in the 1984 film Utsav.

In the year 2009, he was a candidate in the Lok Sabha elections from Patna Sahib seat in Bihar. He finished third. In May of 2024, he joined the political party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He hosted the late night show Movers n Shakers.

In 1983, he married Alka Suman. His son is actor Adhyayan Suman . In 1995, his 11-year-old son Aayush died of a rare heart disease called Endomyocardial fibrosis (EMF).

He was in the series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, which starred Manisha Koirala and Sonakshi Sinha .
