ABOUT SHEMAR TURNER

NFL defensive lineman who was originally taken as a second-round pick in the 2025 Draft by the Chicago Bears . While in college, he played college football at Texas A&M University . As a red-shirt junior, he earned second-team All-Big 12 honors.

He was considered a four-star recruit while at DeSoto High School. In 2021, he was selected to play in the Under Armour All-American game.

There have been over 30 players in Desoto High School history to reach the NFL. Other notable Desoto alums include Von Miller , Tatum Bell , Byron Murphy , and James Proche II .

Growing up, he lived with his family in DeSoto, Texas.

He was taken during the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, just like JT Tuimoloau and Luther Burden III .
