Egyptian actress who rose to fame for her starring role in Fahmy Abdul Hamid's television series Fawazeer Al Fonoon. She gained prominence as a film actress with her roles in 1996's Nazwa and 1997's Hassan Ellol. Later in her career, she earned critical praise for her performances in Out of Order and Photocopy.
She launched her acting career in 1989. Before that, she had worked as a model.
She was named Best Actress at the Cairo National Festival for Egyptian Cinema for her role in Out of Order. Upwards of 3.5 million followers have flocked to her shereenredaofficial Instagram account to follow her life and career.
She is the daughter of dancer and choreographer Mahmoud Reda.
