Became famous for portraying Audrey Horne on TV's Twin Peaks. From 2017 until 2021, she played Karen Street on the TV series S.W.A.T. She has amassed over 120 acting credits throughout her prolific and ongoing career.
She attended the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute prior to her debut.
She was in the film Of Mice and Men and portrayed Elizabeth Taylor in Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story. In 1993, she played the titular character in the romance film Boxing Helena.
She married Toulouse Holliday in 1994, and the couple had welcomed a son Myles the previous year.
She starred in the film Of Mice and Men, which was based on the novel by John Steinbeck .
