ABOUT SHION TAKEUCHI

Creator of the Netflix series Inside Job who initially rose to fame for her work as a writer and storyboard artist for the animated sitcom Regular Show . From 2014 to 2016, she was a writer for the mystery comedy animated series Gravity Falls . She went on to write for Disenchantment .

She earned a BFA in animation from the California Institute of the Arts in 2010.

She was nominated for an Annie Award in 2016 and 2017 for her work on Gravity Falls. She has shared some of her art for Inside Job on her sshhhhhionn Instagram account.

She was born to a translator and a technology company executive.

She collaborated with Alex Hirsch in the making of Inside Job.
