Journalist and author who published her first book El Periodismo Continúa in November 2014. She has over 1.2 million followers on her shirleyvarnagy Instagram account.
She graduated with a Social Communications degree from Andrés Bello Catholic University.
She started working as a producer for Globovisión and quit when her program was cut for insulting Venezuelan presidents Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro .
She has two children. Her grandparents were Holocaust survivors.
She and Sergio Novelli are both journalists who have worked for Globovisión in Venezuela.
