Colombian model, actress, and television presenter who first became known after appearing on the reality series Protagonistas de Novela. She went on to act in a number of telenovelas such as Cuando Vivas Conmigo and Diomedes, el Cacique de La Junta. She has competed in a number of beauty pageants such as Miss Tanga Cristal, Miss Belleza Juvenil, and Miss Mundo Colombia.
She attended the Autonomous University of the Caribbean.
She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Telenovela at the 2016 Premios TVyNovelas for her performance in Diomedes, el Cacique de La Junta. She posts photos of herself on her shirlygomezr Instagram account, where she has earned more than 1 million followers.
She has two sons, Cristian and Aaron.
She worked alongside María José Vargas on the cast of Cuando Vivas Conmigo.
