ABOUT SIMON CULHANE

Retired fly-half who earned six caps playing for New Zealand's national rugby union team from 1995 to 1996 and also played for the Highlanders.

He attended Kingswell High School in New Zealand.

After his playing career was over, he began coaching Southland in 2005.

He grew up in Invercargill, New Zealand.

He played alongside fly-half Andrew Mehrtens on New Zealand.
