ABOUT SMOKE
Rapper and one half of the hip hop duo Field Mob with artist Shawn Jay , who rose to fame with their hit single "So What" featuring rapper Ciara . He also received success as a solo artist with his single "So Lonely," which was regularly featured on BET.
He and member Shawn formed after competing in a freestyle rap battle in their high school courtyard.
Field Mob's song "Georgia" featured well known rappers Ludacris and Jamie Foxx and reached #39 on the US Billboard 200.
He was born Darion Crawford in Albany, Georgia, but goes by his stage name Smoke. He and Shawn met at Monroe Comprehensive High School.
He and Shawn are signed with T-Pain's label Nappy Boy Entertainment.
