ABOUT SODIQ ABUBAKAR YUSUF
Nigerian rapper known as CDQ. He is most known for his songs "Nowo E Soke" and "Woss Wobi." Much of his music features him rapping in Yoruba.
He was born in Orile, a suburb of Lagos. He started making music professionally as a backup singer for Da Grin.
He launched his own record label in 2016 and dropped "Say Baba," his first single with the label, in 2017. His hobbies are cooking, writing, and travelling. His YouTube channel features a lot of his music, and he often sees the official releases for his music videos receive hundreds of thousands of views. He has seen his audience on the channel grow to reach over 30,000 subscribers.
In July 2022, he reunited with his mom after not seeing her for three years due to COVID travel restrictions.
His most well-known song, "Nowo E Soke," features Wizkid , who he attributes much of his success to. He is close friends with Obafemi Martins .
