Businessman who became Chairman, CEO, and majority shareholder of one of the world's mammoth multinational technology groups Itracom Holdings.
He spent 18 years as owner and chairman of Greek football club Olympiacos. His tenure saw Piraeus club conquer 12 top division titles, five Greek Cups, and one Greek Super Cup.
He was accused by East German officials of espionage, fraud, and money laundering in the early sixties, but the case was eventually thrown out after the statute of limitations ran out.
He was born in Athens, Greece.
He and Aristotle Onassis were both successful Greek businessmen.
