ABOUT SOPHIE ALDRED
English actress who played the role of Ace in the television series Doctor Who in the late 1980s. She has also done voice acting in programs such as Dennis & Gnasher and Bob the Builder.
She was part of the church choir of St. James' Kidbrooke and later became a drama student at the University of Manchester.
She wrote a book called "Ace, The Inside Story of the End of an Era" in 1996.
She married actor, Victor Henderson in 1997 and they have two sons, Adam and William.
She played a sidekick to the character Doctor Who in the late 1980s. Matt Smith has portrayed the character of the Doctor.
