Australian actress who starred in the 1994 film Muriel's Wedding and earned an Australian Film Institute Best Supporting Actress Award nomination for her role in the 1997 film The Castle. She has amassed over 20 acting roles throughout her on-screen career. In 2000, she played Linda in the movie Bootmen.
She had her first recurring television role on The Flying Doctors in 1991.
She made a cameo appearance in the 2012 film Mental. In 2014, she played Mrs. Travers in two episodes of the series Puberty Blues.
She was in a six-year relationship with comedian Mick Molloy . She had a daughter, Edie, and two sons, Tom and Jack, with her husband Anthony Freedman whom she married in 2002.
She had a supporting role in the 1999 film Holy Smoke alongside Kate Winslet .
