ABOUT SOSSIO ARUTA

Italian professional football player who is known for his work as a striker on several different Italian clubs including Pimonte, Rubierese, and Taranto. He is also known for his television appearances and has starred in several Canale 5 series including Uomini e Donne, Temptation Island VIP, and Ciao Darwin 8.

He started his amateur career in football in 1988 when he played for the Sant'Antonio Abate club. He gained further attention in 1993 when he played professionally for the Taranto club where he made 85 appearances and scored 38 goals.

He was given the nickname King Lion for having played for over 25 years on 25 different teams, scoring an overall 350 goals between his professional and amateur career.

He married his wife Rossella and together the couple has four children named Davide, Daniel, Ciro, and Diego.

He starred alongside Valeria Marini and Stefano Bettarini on the reality television series Temptation Island VIP.
