ABOUT SPENCER STEER

Professional first baseman that was drafted by the Minnesota Twins during the third round of the 2019 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Cincinnati Reds via trade in August 2022. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Oregon .

He was originally drafted out of Millikan High School in Long Beach, California. Although he chose to attend the University of Oregon , he was initially drafted by the Cleveland Guardians in 2016.

He made his official major league debut playing against the Colorado Rockies on September 2, 2022 as a member of the Reds. He finished the game going 2 for 2. Throughout the course of his professional playing career, he has appeared in over two dozen games.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Long Beach, California.

He once played collegiate sports at Oregon just like Dennis Dixon and De'Anthony Thomas .
