ABOUT STAN CULLIMORE
Guitarist who became known from the Hull based indie rock band The Housemartins. He went on to become a journalist and author of over 120 children's books. He has written for publications such as The Daily Mail, Hull Daily Mail and the Bristol Post.
He responded to a local newspaper advertisement by The Housemartins singer Paul Heaton seeking musicians in 1983.
He has composed songs for children's television including TV series The Bopps for popular network Nickelodeon.
He was born Ian Peter Cullimore in Hull, England. He married his wife Amelia in May 1988. They had two daughters and two sons together.
He and Norman Cook were both in The Housemartins together.
