ABOUT STELLA CHIWESHE
Zimbabwean musician known for her singing and playing of the mbira dzavadzimu, an instrument of the Shona people.
She grew up in the Mujumi Village of Mhondoro.
She was one of few women who learned how to play the mbira dzavadzimu.
She had one daughter.
She and Leonardo Dembo were both musicians from Zimbabwe.
