ABOUT STEPHEN DUNNE
Actor, entertainer, artist, performer, and radio personality who was in films including 1948's The Woman from Tangier, 1949's Kazan, and 1949's Law of the Barbary Coast. He played a newscaster in the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory .
He attended the University of Alabama where he majored in drama and journalism. He briefly worked for an electric company.
He was in television shows such as The Brady Bunch , Ironside, Dragnet 1967, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Batman , and The Beverly Hillbillies . He voiced the famous private eye in the radio series The Adventures of Sam Spade.
In 1940, he married Marie Vivian Muriel Belliveau. They had two children.
He was in the 1945 film Junior Miss which starred Peggy Ann Garner and Barbara Whiting Smith .
