ABOUT STEPHEN MCFEELY

American screenwriter and producer known for working on a number of box office hits with his longtime collaborator Christopher Markus. He and Markus rose to fame on the back of their screenplay for the 2004 television film The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. They went on to write screenplays for Avengers: Endgame , Thor: The Dark World , Captain America: The First Avenger , and other movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He studied English at the University of Notre Dame and creative writing at UC Davis .

He won a Primetime Emmy Award for The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. He was a guest on a 2019 episode of Rough Draft with Reza Aslan .

He is married to actress Jennifer Cotteleer.

He and Christopher Markus wrote the screenplay for The Gray Man starring Ryan Gosling .
